including 43 years as a Forensic Toxicologist/Forensic Chemist
I have a B.S. degree St. Joseph’s Univ., Pre-Med course in 1958; M.S. degree, St. Joseph’s Univ. Grad. School of Chemistry, my major interest was analytical chemistry & particularly chemical instrumentation in 1966; my Ph.D. degree is in Chemical Dependency @ La Salle Univ., with a magna cum laude scholastic achievement in 1994. I, also, spent two years at Jefferson Med. School, [1966 to 68] taking courses in cellular biology, physiology, & the forensic aspects of toxicology. I have been an adjunct professor for 11 years at St. Joseph’s Univ., Bucks Co. Comm. College, Holy Family Univ., teaching police technical courses: ,namely, Criminal Investigations, e.g. the various aspects of Forensic Sciences, Criminology, Forensic Toxicology, Motor Vehicle Accident Physics & Math, Field Sobriety Testing, etc. ...& at La Salle Univ., in their Drug & Chemical Dependency in BS, MS, & PhD courses, counseling program for 4 years, where many of my students were in law enforcement.
I have been a Clinical Chemist, a Pharmaceutical Chemist, a Bio-Analytical Research Supervisor/ Consultant to the Pharm., Vet., Cosmetics, Food & Liquor Industries, a Bio-Analytical/Nuclear-Chemist/ Consultant to the Pharm. & Vet. Industries, .an. Bio-Analytical Toxicologist & Chemist for the City of Philadelphia at the Office of the Medical Examiner, where I did lab assay for the presence of alcohol, drugs & poisons in legally questionable deaths, &, also, part of my duties was to give advice on the Phila. Poison Information Phone to parents, doctors, & nurses. I, also, was a Forensic Toxicologist/ Chemist for the NJ State Police, where I did all of the alcohol, drug & poison bio-assays in live suspects for NJ State trooper cases & for NJ local police departments, & tox. assays in dead body specimens for all of the 21 NJ county medical examiners, ... I was a Lab Supervisor in a bio-analytical lab assays [National Medical Services, Willow Grove, Pa.]. In many of these former jobs, the bio-assay of drug contents was involved.
I have been self-employed as a Forensic Toxicologist/ Chemist/ Expert Witness, specializing in the DEFENSIVE FORENSIC issues in courtrooms, in all 50 States, plus Wash., DC, over the last 44 years. I am Nationally Known. Defensive means that I do not do the opposite testimony for the prosecutor, for one can not do both sides without loosing credibility ... unless you like "double talkers"!
I do courtroom defense cases concerning illegal possession of &/or the manufacuring of Street Drugs, &/OR Prescription Drugs,[ Rx], &/OR Over-The-Counter [OTC] Drugs.
